Founded by Dan Blood, Cape Neddick Capital, LLC is a capital-raising and advisory platform aiming to build new relationships and serve long-standing clients. Dan has nearly 40 years of investment banking experience working for multiple firms including Chemical Bank (JPMorgan Chase), Bear Stearns, FBR, and BTIG.

Cape Neddick Capital is focused on assisting long-standing real estate clients in pursuit of their capital raising and advisory objectives. Cape Neddick Capital offers its experience and relationships to new clients in pursuit of capital formation opportunities. Cape Neddick Capital serves clients across the country.

In 2008, Dan joined FBR Capital Markets covering real estate and specialty finance clients. He ran the Real Estate Group and the New York Office. FBR was the market leader in raising private 144A equity capital (pre-IPO) for start-up platforms. During Dan’s tenure at FBR, he lead a team that successfully completed nine sole-managed 144A equity offerings raising $3.2 billion and eleven book-run IPOs raising $3.3 billion.

Dan joined Bear Stearns in 1990 as part of the debt capital markets group. He spent 18 years at Bear Stearns and worked in several areas, including emerging markets, private placements, strategic finance, and investment banking. At the end of his tenure, Dan lead the company’s capital markets (including investment grade, emerging markets, and international) and real estate capital-raising businesses.

Dan began his career at Chemical Bank and completed their credit training program, after graduating from Davidson College in 1984. After 5 years at Chemical Bank, Dan earned his MBA from University of Chicago with a concentration in finance and a specialization in accounting.
